While our country is famous for its vast landscapes, the natural world is thriving right in our backyard. Part of the core mission of Everyone Outdoors Together is helping Canadians discover the beautiful spaces right outside their own doors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every pocket of Canada has its own unique version of golden hour\u2014that spectacular pocket of time right before the sun sets when the light hits the earth at a perfect angle. Connecting with the land is all about paying attention in these moments. It is about noticing the local birds settling down for the evening, feeling the temperature drop as the sun hits the horizon, and appreciating the diverse ecosystems that share our local spaces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As we prepare for July 18, we encourage you to go on an exploration of your immediate surroundings. Walk a path you normally drive past, find a quiet bench, or explore a local green space you\u2019ve never visited before.
